The Impact Environmental Management conference has been a staple on the Coffs Coast business events calendar for over 2 decades and has grown to deliver a significant boost the the regional visitor economy year on year. Local resorts share in the delivery of the five day event, adding a significant amount of bed nights and delegate spend to the local economy each year. The 2023 event once again entirely booked out accommodation at Pacific Bay Resort where the conference and events team rolled out the red carpet for the gala dinner.
485 guests enjoyed welcome drinks, canapes and networking on the Bayside Green before making their way inside to Pacific Bay Resort’s fully dressed Gala dinner. Guests were treated to Chef prepared entrees including a delicious Chorizo, fetta and caramelised onion tart with pea puree, braised tomato and pea pea tendrils. Mains included a Wagyu brisket with roasted parsnip, paris mash, beans and pink peppercorn jus. Dessert included a basque cheesecake, shortbread and passionfruit curd.
“Setting a standard for service and experience in the conference and business events space is something we are passionate about” Says Group Business Development Manager at Pacific Bay Resort Ms Tanya Watts. “Our entire team operates with a growth mindset, we’re always growing and learning. The successful delivery of these large scale business events highlights the professionalism of our local industry” she adds.
The Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events (MICE) industry continues to see The Coffs Coast as a wonderful location to host a residential conference. Ongoing expansion of routes where delegates can fly direct from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra and now the Sunshine Coast are adding to the ease and appeal for conference organisers.
The Waste conference is set to return to the Coffs Coast again in 2024.
