It’s been 16 months since Pacific Bay Resort closed its doors and re-opened under new independent management. The story so far is one of heart; goodwill and resolve as the team build the property back into a fully integrated resort.

Group Marketing Manager Christopher Winn says “We’ve had so many wins over the past year. Our letting pool has grown from 30 to 94 rooms”. Add to that an ongoing room refurbishment program that’s aimed at ensuring the resort offers a consistently better standard of accommodation and the team have taken their guest reviews to a healthy 4 stars on both Trip Advisor and Google Reviews. The resort is also now boasting a booking.com review score of 8.0.

Updates to the on-site gymnasium have left it fresh and inviting, the Village Centre has received a fresh coat of paint and a re-style and the resort gardens have been refreshed to an award winning level. The 9-hole golf course is undergoing improvements and perhaps the most notable of changes, the resort buildings are currently receiving a fresh coat of paint, offering a fresh new look and feel to the property. Much of the forward momentum can be attributed to the Strata committee who with a renewed confidence in the direction the resort is heading, have been right behind the upgrades.

Onsite restaurant Bayside Bar and Grill has recently launched a brand new menu and locals are invited to dine on the decks overlooking the tropical resort surrounds. Open for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner 7 days a week with a Happy Hour for all to enjoy from 5pm daily.

As a major player in the local tourism industry, Pacific Bay Resort is keen to work with local operators to package up great holidays for families and couples alike. “We’re partnering with operators like Treetops Adventure Park, Dolphin Marine Conservation Park and Solitary Islands Aquarium to offer packages that include accommodation, breakfast, tickets to local attractions and dining options for Bayside Bar and Grill” says Christopher
