Coffs Harbour’s PREMIER conference and events venue, Pacific Bay Resort in Coffs Harbour has re-opened after Covid-19 Government regulations forced the venue to pause its trading earlier in 2020. Like many venues, addressing operational changes to maintain a smooth and safe re-open has been high on the agenda for the team over the past several weeks.

Pacific Bay Resort’s Operations Manager Graeme Martin says the conference and events space presents a great opportunity to kickstart the visitor economy. “We have continued our refurbishment program and have several newly refreshed executive level hotel rooms and apartments to add to our growing letting pool”

Pacific Bay Resort which is a part of the Coastal and Golf Resorts Group and also includes Bonville Golf Resort and Jonah’s Restaurant and Boutique Hotel at Sydney’s Whale Beach boasts a long history as a destination for major conferences and playing host to national sports training camps.

Group Business Development Manager Tanya Watts says “The Coffs Coast has always been an enviable regional conference destination. Our focus on nature, wellness and escape, together with comfortable accommodation options and exquisite service offers the perfect blend for business delegates .”

Pacific Bay Resort had an incredible end to the 2019 / 2020 Summer period when it played host to over 1600 guests over 8 weeks in partnership with The Great Southern rail journey. This series of luxury beachside dinner events set the resort apart as a destination of choice and a truly unique beachside escape experience.
