Pacific Bay Resort – Coffs Harbour Bypass Works
Guests visiting Pacific Bay Resort should be aware that road access has temporarily changed due to the Coffs Harbour Bypass project.
From 1st September 2026, Access from Pacific Highway (From the South), Turning Right onto to Bay Drive will be restricted. Access from Bay Drive, turning Right onto Pacific Highway (Heading North) will also be restricted
Guests should follow the signed detour routes and allow extra travel time when travelling to and from the resort.
Access will remain left-in / left-out only until right turns are reinstated in November 2026.
Alternate Route – Arriving at Pacific Bay Resort
Guests arriving by car should use the signed detour via Diggers Beach Road, located opposite the Big Banana.
From the Pacific Highway:
An alternate detour is also available via the Arthur Street roundabout near Park Beach Plaza.
Alternate Route – Departing Pacific Bay Resort
When departing the resort, guests should follow the signed detour route via the local road network.

Motorists should expect temporary traffic changes, lane closures, reduced speed limits and minor delays while these works are carried out.
We recommend allowing additional travel time and checking the latest traffic updates before travelling.
